How to replace Garmin Vivofit 2 batteries: step by step
- Remove the device from the band.
- Use a small Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the four screws on the front.
- Remove the front panel and the old batteries.
- Insert the new batteries with the negative side facing inward, towards the front cover.
- Check that the gasket is undamaged and correctly placed in the back of the housing.
- Ensure the gasket tabs align properly with the notches in the battery holder. Incorrect placement may damage the seal.
- Reattach the cover and tighten the four screws evenly and securely.
- Place the device back into the band and pull the band material tightly over it.
